25th Anniversary Celebration: Haojiang Forum on Linguistics and Language Education （Session 2）

The Haojiang Forum on Linguistics and Language Education is one of the lecture series launched by the University International College. It aims to create a high-level academic exchange platform to enhance the research competence and academic capabilities of both faculty and students in the fields of linguistics and language education. The forum also seeks to promote close interaction and collaboration between top scholars and the College’s faculty and students, further enhancing the standards of linguistic research and education in Macao and at Macau University of Science and Technology. During the University's Silver Jubilee, the forum will host six lectures, with talks delivered by Chair Professor Hongming Zhang, the Dean of University International College, and five other distinguished invited scholars. The lectures will focus on cutting-edge research findings in linguistics and language education, innovative research methods, and other related topics.

Leturer: Prof. Yan Haiping

Formerly Professor of UCLA and Cornell University in Comparative Arts and Literatures and Cross-cultural history, Yan Haiping is presently Professor of Cross-cultural Studies, the Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Co-Director of Tsinghua-Michigan Society of Fellows, and the Director of the Institute for World Literatures and Cultures at Tsinghua University.
